The All Parties Hurriyet Conference and other pro-movement leaders have strongly condemned the stepped up Indian state terrorism and continued human rights violations committed by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir.
APHC leaders, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Yasmeen Raja, Zafar Akbar Butt and the Jammu Kashmir Mass Movement Patron, Farida Behnji in their separate statements appealed to the United Nations to speed up its efforts and exert pressure on India to resolve the Kashmir dispute without any further delay. They said that sacrifices rendered by the people of Kashmir would not go waste and the ongoing liberation movement would be taken to its logical end.
The leaders also paid glowing tributes to all martyrs including the prominent human rights activist, Jaleel Ahmed Andrabi, Dr Abdul Ahad Guru and Ashfaq Majid Wani. “It was because of the supreme sacrifices of martyrs that the Kashmir dispute had become the focus of the international attention,” the statements added.
