Dar led an APHC Delegation of Pulwama

A delegation led by Senior Muslim Conference Leader and Chief Office Superintendent APHC , Shabir Ahmad Dar visited Village Moshwara, Kellar Pulwama to offer Nimaz-e Zinazah of two Martyrs who achieved martyrdom fighting Indian police and 42 RR. While paying glowing tributes to all martyrs Shabir said that no peace in Sub-continent is possible , if Kashmir imbroglio is kept in limbo , hence the stalemate or impasse between Pakistan and India has hampered the process of progress and development . The sacrifices of martyrs has kept Kashmir dispute alit : thus has drawn the global attention, Dar said. Shabir Ahmad maintained that much of blood has flown along river Jehleum , Hurriyat is not against dialogue but believes in result oriented meaningful discourse for a peaceful resolution of Kashmir as per the wishes and aspiration of simpleton Kashmiris. Now enough is enough let the good sense prevail among the Indo-Pak leadership , Shabir Said .

Hurriyat Executive Member and Acting Chairman Jammu Kashmir Peoples League Mukhtar Ahmad Waza in a statement has expressed shock over the terrorist attack on police academy in Manawan area of Lahore which has caused loss of lives in Pakistan and extends deepest commiserations to the bereaved families who lost their dear ones or suffered from the trauma of the attack. This attack seems that as if their are some actors who want to destabilize Pakistan but Pakistan has the potential to coup up such pressures and has the ability to deal with suck like acts. Mukhtar Waza reiterated that both India and Pakistan need to address the root cause and develop a universal approach

Terrorism in any form at any level horrific: Prof .Bhat

Muslim Conference Supremo and Executive Member APHC Prof. Abdul Gani Bhat in a statement said that the terror attack in Lahore on Monday morning was more horrible in the sense that the terrorists got into a police academy were the cadets were engaged in a morning parade , however one can hardly resist feeling that the leadership in Delhi and Islamabad owe a duty to the people that a purposeful peace is restored and the future ensured for them in India and Pakistan . Prof. Bhat maintained that the attacks happen in both countries so let us summon up courage ,and address the root causes and prefer to be human and leave fighting beasts in the Jungle; would that we promote the togetherness and conjointly face the menace.

Hurriyet leaders condemn hr violations in Kashmir

The All Parties Hurriyet Conference and other pro-movement leaders have strongly condemned the stepped up Indian state terrorism and continued human rights violations committed by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir.
APHC leaders, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Yasmeen Raja, Zafar Akbar Butt and the Jammu Kashmir Mass Movement Patron, Farida Behnji in their separate statements appealed to the United Nations to speed up its efforts and exert pressure on India to resolve the Kashmir dispute without any further delay. They said that sacrifices rendered by the people of Kashmir would not go waste and the ongoing liberation movement would be taken to its logical end.
The leaders also paid glowing tributes to all martyrs including the prominent human rights activist, Jaleel Ahmed Andrabi, Dr Abdul Ahad Guru and Ashfaq Majid Wani. “It was because of the supreme sacrifices of martyrs that the Kashmir dispute had become the focus of the international attention,” the statements added.
The leaders while strongly condemning bomb blast in a mosque in Jamrood, Pakistan on Friday, killing scores of innocent people, said that the enemies of Pakistan were trying to destabilize the country. They expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.

Mehmood Ahmed Saghar: the new APHC-AJK Convenor

APHC-AJK chapter in an extraordinary meeting in Islamabad, today, elected Mehmood Ahmed Saghar as its Acting Convenor.
The election was held after Syed Yousuf Naseem thanked the members for their cooperation, requesting them to relieve him of his duties as the Convenor. Mehmood Ahmed Saghar announced on the occasion that a formal election of the Convenor would be conducted very soon. The participants appreciated Syed Yousuf Naseem’s role as the Convenor of the APHC-AJK chapter.

Death of Ghulam Muhammad Bhut is a great loss the resistance movement: Peoples League


Acting chairman of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has expresses profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Ghulam Muhammad Bhat, who was suffering from cancer and left heavenly abode on Sunday. A delegation of pro-freedom leaders led by Prof. Abdul Gani Bhat along with Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Bilal Gani Lone, Mohammad Yasin Malik, Fazl Haq Qurashi visited the house of Bhat and conveyed the condolences to the bereaved family. Later on the delegation paid a visit to martyrs graveyard at Eidgah and offered Fateh Khawani to all martyrs including Shaheed Hurriyat Mirwaiz Moulana Mohammad Farooq, Shaheed Abdul Gani Lone, Shaheed-e-Azeemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz, Shaheed Ishfaq Majeed and Shaheed S. Hameed Wani. The delegation said that they are committed to the oath and carry on the mission for which these martyrs have laid down their precious lives shall be carried till to the logical conclusion.

Mirwaiz condemns violence against demonstrators/APHC leader Nayeem Khan arrested in Mirgund
Srinagar, March :The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has strongly condemned the violence of Indian troops against peaceful demonstrators at various places in occupied Kashmir. Addressing a Juma congregation in Srinagar, today, the APHC chairman appealed to the international community to take cognizance of the fact that India was not even ready to allow Kashmiris their democratic right of staging peaceful protests.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq maintained that the Indian police in vengeance were harassing Kashmiri tradesmen and students in different states of India.
Addressing a similar congregation, senior APHC leader, Maulana Abbas Ansari said that the association of genuine Kashmiri leadership with the dialogue process between India and Pakistan was imperative to make it more meaningful and result-oriented.
On the other hand, Indian police personnel arrested APHC leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan at Mirgund on Srinagar-Baramulla highway, today. He was on his way to address a public gathering in Baramulla. The troops raided the office of JKLF-R in Srinagar damaging the office goods.
