Kashmiris reject Indian occupation by staying away from the farcical polls:Agha Syed

Senior APHC leader, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi has said that the people of occupied Kashmir have rejected the Indian occupation by staying away from the farcical polls.
Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said that the so-called elections were not the solution of the Kashmir dispute. He maintained that the ongoing liberation struggle would continue till its logical end.
The APHC leader appealed the people of Baramulla and Kupwara to totally boycott the fifth phase of Indian parliamentary elections to be conducted on Wednesday. He said that India had been trying to mislead the world community regarding the real issue and to strengthen its illegal occupation of occupied Kashmir by holding polls drama for the last six decades.
Hassan Al-Moosvi flayed the occupation authorities for restricting Hurriyet leaders to participate in Juma congregation. He said that India was interfering in the religious matters of Kashmiri Muslims, which was undemocratic and a violation of the human rights.
The APHC leader maintained that peace would elude South Asia as long as the Kashmir dispute remained unresolved. He urged the world community to play its role to settle the long-standing dispute. »
